Drawing on several decades of experience, Victoria Deeks is a nurse practitioner (NP) at the Peak Medical Clinic Klamath Falls, a position she has held since April 2019. Alongside this, Victoria Deeks is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), an organization that represents nurse practitioners across the country.
The AANP recently released its annual statistics on the industry, noting that the demand for nurse practitioners has continued to increase year on year, going up from 270,000 in 2018 to an estimated 290,000 by the end of 2019. The organization also states that NPs are chosen by millions of people across the country as a health care provider, with this fact possibly driving an increase in the number of people choosing to become a NP.
The AANP also notes that the full-time average salary for nurse practitioners was $115,000, although this figure drops to $110,000 once bonuses are removed. The report, titled 2019 National NP Sample Survey, also highlights that family care is the most popular certification among NPs, followed by adult, pediatrics, and adult-gerontology.
